Hello I'm new here I have a 11 year old female calico shorthaired she weighs 11lbs. Recently she developed a mouth ulcer and also a rodent ulcer she was put on Prednisolone 5 mg twice a day for 14 days then one a day for 7 days than a pill every other day until the bottle is empty. We found out that it was the food i was feeding her which at the time was only Evo dry food. Not smart i know but now that i know better about a cats diet she gets sheba, Fancy Feast classics and Weruva cats in the kitchen And sometimes a little dry. everything was good the ulcers are gone the vet said the only thing she could find was a little protein in her urine but she didnt feel that it was her kidneys. Tomorrow is the last day of the 14 days and just a couple days ago i noticed that her one pupil is slightly bigger than the other and she has a little bit of discharge in her eyes it dry's black but she's eating and acting normal. So i was wondering if that was normal and caused by the medicine or should i be alarmed? Thank you.
