One Kitten Won't Eat

We have 8 week old kittens and three of them are eating, drinking, and using the litter box. One, of course, the one my daughter wants to keep, refuses to eat solid or wet food, or drink water. He only wants mama. Tried kmr with food mush, mixed can with the kitten food. Nothing. He runs from the food bowl when it gets put down. We bottle fed his mama and her brothers when their mama was hit by a car. They were born feral. I am at a loss here. Any ideas?

He will wean when he is ready, usually it’s when the late-bloomer gets hungry enough! It should be soon.

In the meantime, try giving him Gerber turkey baby food on your finger. Most kittens and cats love it!
