One eye betta makes bubblenest!

I finally caught my one eye betta making his bubblenest. Its only a little bit of a clip. Sorry..

I didn't even know they did that... I had to go and google 'bubblenests' to find out about it.  They are very cleverly made, and only the guys do it!

Interesting. I didn't know what a bubblenest was either.  I thought only females layed eggs. I find it really weird to hear that a male fish does too.

Its just the female that lays the eggs, but the male puts them in the nest and tends to them until they hatch.

He is very happy in his home!  I love the plants in your tank.  My Betta hides in his plants only to come out and flare at me lol.

That's great you rescued a disabled betta and a good sign he is blowing a bubble best usually sick bettas don't blow a bubble best. You should join ultimatebettas forum not only would they love the pictures and video but not many people have a one eyed betta he is special and they'd love to see him!
