You can train them to accept teeth brushing. The key is to make is as non threatening and unstressful as possible.

I have written out the method I used to train my cats to accept teeth brushing and will be happy to share it with you if you want. Even Mazy, who came to me completely unsocialized, allows it.

Lawguy, that's great that Ollie is feeling better - and I was just thinking how saving Allie certainly changed your life, but Ollie couldn't have found a better parent - even down to sharing tooth issues!
Seriously, you've gone above and beyond so many times for these babies - you've got a great heart.

Otto, I'd be interested in that cleaning technique....I really should brush my two's teeth, but, ah, reluctant is mildly descriptive of how they feel about the prospect - and then I cry. Thanks for any insight on how to make it a better experience for them.
