Welcome from me. Peaches, Paisley, Arthur and Josie. I'm sure your 2 will get along. Introduce them slowly and supervise for the 1st few weeks they are together. If she's just hissing, it should be OK pretty soon. She's just letting him know she's the boss cat. Have fun with your 2 babies.

I think you're right, too. She seems to be changing from angry and annoyed, to quietly amused and curious. I've been giving him a toy, and letting her watch him play, which she seems to enjoy. I guess that way she can watch him without worrying that he'll want to pounce on her....yet.

She does still hiss if he's sitting above her...but i suppose she wants him, well, to sit beneath her at all times. She did this to a dog we were babysitting once. Oh did she scare that dog!
