So according to that chart Fancy Feast Classic formulas have an average of 2.10 % , is that high ?

I don't know if there is a specific amount of phosphorus an average healthy cat needs. I'm not sure if Dr. Lisa addresses it on her Catinfo.org web site but you can check. Seafood is generally high in phosphorus so those should only be fed occasionally.
That's pretty much what our vet said when I asked her about phosphorus levels for young (adult) cats. She's far more concerned about grains and carbs.
Phosphorus is contained in meat, so I would think that you wouldn't want to limit phosphorus unless there's issues like UTIs or kidney disease.

Awesome , thank you . Yes I noticed that some of the brands are a little off .
I refer to the food chart frequently, however, some of the stats are out dated because some of the company's have changed their ingredients etc.. If you want to be sure, contact the company directly! I've called lots of them asking for carb and phosphorus levels! They seem to have this info at their finger tips!
