All my parents cats had the jabs for it as well and they were fine, but like you i have also heard of a couple of cats die from leukemia but hopefully the vets do come up with an answer soon as to wether they really need it every year or not. Thats question number 2 to ask for an update when i take Sophie in a couple of weeks
