October 16th is National Feral Cat Day. Is anyone planning on doing anything that day?

Ok....I've decided what I'm going to do. The president of the rescue group that I've been working with is looking for help in writing a grant to obtain funding to do feral rescue. Don't know a thing about it, but I'm suspecting that I'm about to. I'll designate that day for my grant writing research day.....

Scott McCorkindale, D.V.M. will spay 30 cats at a reduced cost both housepets and ferals. Barkshire Woods is the spay organization in charge of coming up with the 30 cats for that day.

Can't wait!! 30 less cats having the ability to have babies is a GOOD thing.

On Oct 16th my local Humane Society will announce the implementation of our new TNR program. We have a retreat next Saturday to get the press releases ready and have already started TNRing a colony in town.
