That issue was unrelated to the current pet food recall as was this thread.

My kitties are sick and under the care of our vet.
Menu foods talked to me and confirmed that Dexter & Sadie did eat a Nutro recalled food.
The FDA called yesterday and will follow-up next week.

What are the symptoms? My cats also ate recalled nutro food but they appear to be fine. When did the symptoms appear? Before or after you stopped feeding them nutro? It's been at least 2 weeks since I stopped feeding my cats nutro, and no symptoms still.

I understand your fear and concern for your cats.
This is an old thread about black specks found in some of Nutro's pouches several months ago.
I do not want to add more recall info.here.
I suggest that you look at the recall sticky links in health.
That should fill you in on the info you need.
I would keep an eye on them for the next couple of months & if you have any doubts talk to a knowledgeable vet about it.
I sent a PM to you about the symptoms that I first noticed.
