My cat is currently nursing. She gave birth about a month ago but today she started walking slowly like almost touching the floor and when I tried feeding her she wasn't interested in eating. she moved to a hidden location and away from the kittens. Does anyone know why this might be?

No, but it is surely a ASAP vet errand!

Also, prepare for handfeeding the kittens.

Agreed! She needs an antibiotic. She probably has mastitis or an internal infection that will clear with medication. She may have a fever. Please get her to a vet today. It is very serious.

How old are the kittens? Will they eat wet food from a plate? If not, you’ll need to get kitten formula and a syringe to feed them.
