Since I started feeding my cats low carb high protein food, being a crazy cat lady that I am, I started feeling like maybe I should eat like my cats too. Now looks like experts are saying that meat and eggs are good for human health after all, and high carb is the problem. My cats definitely have more energy now and also I feel great when I eat beef. Interesting.

Another thing to thank our cats for!
Thanks to them, I cut carrageenan out of our human diet, too. Not always easy if you like ice cream...

Costco's ice cream doesn't have carrageenan and tastes so good!

Yeah, I was wondering... if it's good for my cats, why it'd be bad for me?

We don't have Costco! But Whole Foods ice cream doesn't have it, either. And there are lots of great locally made gelati around her!

I have to admit that I've been more likely to fry eggs for lunch after some of those recent studies. I could do fine without meat (except burgers!) but I really love eggs.
