Has anyone ever had to give their cats novo-lexin?
My little one has had an upper respiratory infection for the last 4 months, hes doing the lysine pumps (4X a day) he did 4 weeks clavamox and 1 week of batril. We saw minor improvements, but after a week we are back to square one = severe congestion, coughing, sneezing, watery eye...
He got blood tested tonight, leukemia and a full blood test and they told me they would call me by 9 if anything suspicious came up, they didnt call so I'm assuming that is in the clear (thank god).
My vet just perscribed a combination of zeniquil and novo-lexin, I know that zeniquil is a pretty strong antibiotic and I found some information on it, but i cant seem to find anything for novo-lexin. Its a powder that is mixed with water to form a pink liquid that needs to be stored in the fridge.
Anyone have any insight or information?
Thanks!
