Pepper is 2 years, male, neutered
I recently came across this yellow looking stain and I’m not sure if it is cat vomit. It’s completely dried up and doesn’t seem to be too recent, and is faint. Otherwise, he doesn’t have any symptoms, haven’t noticed a stain/vomit else where. If it IS cat vomit, is there something to be concerned about given the circumstances ? I read that yellow vomit is bile and sometimes cats will throw it up if their tummies are empty
I live with my family and it doesn’t seem like anyone recalls him vomiting, or noticing a stain there (it’s on the main stairs, we go up and down all the time and no one has accidentally stepped in it while it was supposedly “freshly vomited”, and we would have cleaned it if we had saw it)
