(mod note.. moved from another thread)

My cat is not eating and has fast breathing. I have already been to the emergency vet and regular vet to follow up and they haven't figured out the problem yet.

Are you handfeeding her? Has she gotten fluids?

Would your vets consult with a university medical veterinarian department?

How old is you cat? I agree with Furballsmom Furballsmom . I would ask if the vet could work with a university animal hospital. At this point, the issue I would be most concerned about is heart disease

Any update, or answers to the above questions? More information would help so much!!!

My cat Feeby (18+ yo) does fast breathing in the morning, but that is the only time for some reason. She has been evaluated for a heart condition and there isn't any. She is hyperthyroidic, and has CKD, but neither condition has been deemed to be connected.

So, as you can see, a whole lot more information about what you do know would be so very helpful. I hope you check back here soon!!
