I have a nearly-seven year old cat, Daisy, who we got when she was six months old. She has always been a very timid little cat, with a very runny bottom. We often joked that we could sell her output to the army as chemical weapons - e.g. flushing out terrorists from caves in Afghanistan? Just chuck in a fresh Daisy dollop, and out they will come, eyes streaming! We have got used to her smelly runny poos, and would give her a bit of boiled chicken if ever they got especially bad.
Well, the weird thing is, that since Easter she has been producing solid droppings! There hasn't been a runny one since then. Her diet and daily routines remain exactly the same as they have always been, and the poos still smell as revolting, but no runs! I'd love to know why this would suddenly happen, after more than six years of squittiness. If anyone has any theories, I'd love to read them.
