Yes, the garlic bread may be different, but the food handling, safety and hygiene skills do not differ very much, country to country, because they are taught at international standards.

But it could very well have been the garlic bread
I wasn't meaning to come across as sounding like, it definitely wasn't the garlic bread. It's just one of those less likely food items, which can of course get contaminated.
I'd say DD will be in for some presents, maybe shopping vouchers or something.

Standards must have been very low that day.

So does my DH. He puts garlic powder on everything and it stinks up the house and his breath. I like garlic but it upsets my stomach.

You would be right at home at my house. I am always eating garlic pita bread with garlic hummus. I will even eat raw garlic. I love it so much!
