Hello All!
I'm new to this site but not new to cats. I'm orginally from South Africa and now live in the USA.
Whilst in South Africa I used to work with a feral cat rescue organization. One day I got a desperate call that a mother cat was being beaten to death whilst her young kittens were watching. I raced to the scene just in time to see both kittens being thrown into a garbage dumpster in a black bag along with the remains of their mother. They were only 4 weeks old.
I took them home to care for them with the best intentions of findning new homes for them. However, I could'nt bare being apart from them and so adopted them. They are are now 7 years old and have travelled with me all around the world!
I now run an animal travel agency with my cats as my spokespets! I am also am a holistic pet care practioner which involved herbal remedies for pets, aromatherapy for pets, crystal therapy for pets and Reiki for pets.
I hope to be able to learn a lot from these forums and maybe even contribute a thing or two as well.
Regards
