Hi, I'm new to the site, and was told to come here and introduce myself. I have 18 cats. In the house. Yeah, I know, I'm crazy. It's not something I decided to do, it just kind of happened. Well, actually it's 22, if you include the 4 outside. A few ferals, but mostly strays, range in age from 13 years to 8 months. I live in a rural area, and people just seem to drop cats around here, they find their way to me, and I end up taking care of them. All named, all fixed, all loved. There's Biscuit, LadyGray, Squeaky, Cricket, Marty, Chipper, SamSam, Sweetie Pie, FluffyGray, Oliver, Oscar, Noah (he came just before a big flood in '11), Toby, Polly, Ginger, and the 3 latest Tezzie, CJ, and Mitty. Outside there's Speckles (13 and still going strong), YellowCat, Auntie, and Clyde. Polly, CJ and Mitty are polydactyl, as was their mama Mandy, a stray who showed up last January (with daughter Polly), sadly she had a run-in with a car in July before I got her tame enough to bring in. That's the tribe. I've had cats for about 40 years, have dealt with just about every behavior issue and illness that you can mention. And still have questions. Looking forward to talking with other cat people. Janet/jmh42
