Sorry for confusion. Third cat was trying to take it. I take in unwanted cats and help them find homes. Come to find out other cat was pregnant. She was trying to take kitten because mom, Scruffy, was going into heat and wanted to leave room ( there are no boy cats in house and she is NOT getting out). The other cat had her two kittens successful and is nursing all 3 now. My only question is Scruffy has now been in heat for 2 weeks. Should I be worried or is this normal after having 1 kitten?
