In the past 2 days, Tumbles has mastered the kitchen counters
and the cat door to the enclosed sunroom.
The only problem with the door to the sunroom is that he can't figure out how to get back in once he's out, so he needs assistance and encouragement!!

ah, the counters, such an important milestone!!
That is hilarious about him not figuring out how to get back in!!
maybe you'll have to put treats by the door for him so his nose will tell him where to go

We had to train both of the girls in how to use the cat door, so I expected it. The first couple of times he was at the door and wanted in, I lifted the door for him just enough to get his head and paw in, then I gradually let the door down so he can get used to the feel of the door on him. The next couple of times, I coaxed him in by shaking his food dish. Then he was fine coming and going.
