Hi!
I have been browsing this site for a few months now while considering adopting a cat from a rescue or shelter, but a week ago I was found by an adorable little kitten instead. My mom lives in the country and she found the kitten in her driveway. It took two days for the kitten to warm up to her, but eventually she allowed herself to be taken inside and fed KMR. So then my mom called me, and asked if I could keep the kitten (she already has 2 cats and didn't want another.) So of course I went and saw her, and fell in love.
I took her to the vet and she has an eye infection, a URI, roundworms, and coccidia. She was kept separate from my mom's cats, and is being kept separate from my other pets, so no worries there. The vet estimated that she is 8 weeks old, but she is very small and malnourished. I've introduced her to some canned foods, so far a few varieties of Fancy Feast classic pates, and Nature's Variety Duck. Eventually I want to feed prey model raw, but I don't want to make too many changes while she sick.
Oh, and she is an orange tabby with a white belly and a white spot on the tip of her tail.
