I want to introduce my furry babies but only one is in my life.
Taz, , my feral, I spent 2 years taming or at least semi taming him (he was 5 when we first met in the back yard). I had to move and the owner of the house agreed to take care of him. I left him and other cats in the neighborhood all fixed. I now visit him and the owner of the house sends me great photos of him. He is doing well.
Then came Tanji, stray from the streets, 7 months, dirty, sick, now 7+ years, throw up problem since he was 7 months and lost his meow last year. Trying to figure that out. but in the meantime he is my kitten at heart

I spent over a year looking to adopt a kitty and one that spoke to me and she did when I saw her photo. I named her Koshka, formally named Cinderella from a Long Beach, CA rescue who saved her and her siblings from the streets. She was the last to get adopted because of her skittishness and not liking people. They trusted me with her from my experience with Taz. I thought she would be a perfect buddy for Tanji who was somewhat skittish. Well after 3 months of working with her, SHE WAS A LAP KITTY. Oh my, not what i expected. I guess I worked with her too much LOL, she entertained me and loved me back (see last comment below)

Koshka passed away in late March this year just shy of 1 year birthday, 5 months after I took her in. She had Feline FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis) Fever of 106, hospitalized for 2 days. Blood work, x-rays pointed in that direction and jaundice started. I was happy I was able to give her the best 5 months of her life with a happy large home to run around, play and live life being loved.
So Tanji is my only furry baby for a now
