Hi Everyone!
I'm new on this site...I live in Southern California with my husband, Randy, and our 4 cats.
Two are indoor, Opal (abt 8 years young) and Diamond (abt 6 years young), I say about because we adopted them from "Luv a Pet". Opal is mostly white with a slight tinge of yellow along her spine. She is a quiet little girl with the sweetest temperament, her brother Diamond on the other hand is a little hellion on four paws
Diamond is black and white and is nothing but trouble, we have nicknamed him 'Spazman' due to his antics
But we love them both very much
Our other two kitties are Bootsie & Lucky. From what I understand, Bootsie used to belong to one of our neighbors, but she never took good care of Bootsie. Bootsie had 3-4 litter of kittens before my other neighbor (and friend), Helen and her son and daughter-in-law 'captured' her and took her in to get 'fixed' (sorry I forget the proper term). So for the next 7 years they took care of her (but she never wanted to live indoors), then I moved in with my husband and helped my friend take care of Bootsie. Now my friend is living in an assisted home and I have 'sole custody' of Bootsie. Bootsie is grey and white and has what we refer to as a 'smokers' meow
Lucky actually used to belong to the people who lived in my house 10 years before my husband bought our house. But the gal had left her boyfriend and he moved and just left Lucky here to fend for herself. Again, my friend Helen started to look after Lucky and now I have 'sole custody' of Lucky also.
Both Bootsie & Lucky are about 14-15 years young.
I have had cats all my life and at one point (while living with my parents) we had no less than 6 cats...all living indoors.
I am sorry I have such a long intro....but I love talking about my kitties and hearing about others kitties!
Ana
