Sam is such a good boy (except when he thinks that breakfast time is 4:30 am).
I bought a new litter box, a covered one, to put in my bathroom. His "regular" box is at the foot of the stairs that lead up to my apartment, because that is where he was having accidents when he first arrived, and so I put the box in the spot he chose.
However, in preparation for the arrival of the new kitty (not yet selected) I bought a fancy new covered box with an air filter to keep in my bathroom. I set it up, filled it with litter, Sam followed me into the bathroom, checked it out, climbed inside and peed.
Good boy!
As a reward, I forgot that it is evening, and gave him another dish of wet food, which is usually only served in the morning at our house.
