Hi all,
I am new to this site but I am here in hopes of finding some help for my mother. She's currently living in the US (Las Vegas) but needs to move overseas to be with family quite urgently.
She has been rescuing feral cats for the past few years and currently has 10 ferals living inside her home. They haven't been outside for 5 years and I don't think she wants to release them. I'm not even sure it would be fair to expect them to survive on their own at this stage.
She won't be able to bring them through customs overseas for a variety of reasons and thus we are on the hunt for some type of feral colony/sanctuary that will offer her cats a place to live out their days in relative safety. So far we have not had much like in finding any sanctuaries that accept feral cats...most programs release them.
Does anyone have any ideas or know of any leads I might follow up to help find these cats a safe place to go? Distance isn't a problem as she would be willing to travel if a place came up for the cats in another state.
Many thanks in advance.
