A quick video of our new foster cat called Motty, he is a 1 year old boy who was a stray, we are looking after him for a few weeks as he is off to be neutered next week, a really friendly boy
yeah but we don't think about the "giving him up part" as that is tough, we can't have a cat as we live in town on a busy road unless it is a house cat, which unless they are FIV or can't go outside, i think is a bit tough on them when they could go to a nice home in the country and chase birds etc. on giving up day we just think about the next bundle of fur they give us, and start back at step 1 building up trust!
Thank you for caring and putting that caring into positive action on behalf of sweet cats in need! Just sayin', but really, responsible and caring people, wherever they live, keep their cats indoors only, for their own safety and wellbeing, and for their peace of mind. We lived in the desert, and had a "catio" with cat doors, and also stables, with a cat-fenced compound up there. All cats were safe, secure, comfortable, and had plenty of enrichment (toys, cat and "general purpose" furniture, and of course, lots of other little ones to watch). Now, in an urban location, they have all the enrichment stuff, plus lots of windows and screen doors to observe the birds and others.
