Hi
Next week I'm getting a 5 month old kitten, her current owner is feeding her:
"For wet food I've been feeding her Purina Pro Plan Kitten formula, and Purina Pro Plan Kitten Select formula, and sometimes Wellness Kitten formula. The dry food she seems to like is a mixture of two foods together: Royal Canin Kitten formula, and Wellness Kitten formula."
From what I've read, the Purina Pro isn't quality food so I'd like to get her off of it. Do you think I should switch her over to all Wellness wet food? I've read the change should be gradual, so I'm assuming I'll need to buy the Purina Pro anyway. Or can I just buy the Wellness because she has eaten it before?
Since I don't have any kids or pets, it's ok if the food I switch to is a little pricey.
Any advice is welcomed, I'm a little nervous and excited about my first kitty baby.
Thanks!
