I noticed a sore tonight and before driving myself crazy googling what it could be, I figured I would ask here.
He is 6 years old, adopted a little over a year ago from the humane society.
The sore is in the fold where his jaw and neck meet, he likes attention but doesn't cuddle or tolerate being picked up.
He is an indoor only cat, I have another but they don't play to think it would be a wound from that. I checked my other cat and dog, they don't have anything (big wise) on them.
I plan on calling to get him in first thing in the morning, but not knowing is driving me crazy!
Thanks for any help!

Hi
Is he scratching or seeming uncomfortable? Is it oozing or bleeding?

Do you have a vet that you've used with him? You could send them a photo and see what they think and go from there. Do you have any other cats, and does he go outside at all?

I don't know what that could be, but the sore doesn't look overly red so he should be good until tomorrow. I'm sure if the vet thought it was urgent, they would have sent you to emergency.
Please let us know what they say tomorrow!

It doesn't seem like it is bothering him at all either.
