Hello!!
I am new here, my name is Johanna (Jo, AN, Nuh) and I am 19 almost 20. I have my bachelor's in Music, in other words I SING. I am a Pharmacy tech in training as well, and I have my PhD in SARCASM and LAUGHTER!
I am serious when I need to be, but why be serious ALL the time?? No one gets out of this life alive, so why bother?
I have 10 fuzzybutts. ALL rescued.
First is Sonny, my gray and white rescue. I found him on the side of the road stranded and hungry, it was the 4th of July and HOT so SUNNY, SONNY he is =) (5 in June)
Then there is Sissy, she came from an irresponsible cat owner. She had 4 brothers and sisters that I bottlefed, yes all 5 of them it was so much fun. However I had to part with the other 4, aka the most heartbreaking thing I think I have ever done.
one of her siblings died of pnemonia. Another hard time for not only me, but my dad who was holding him on his chest when he took his last breath. Sissy was named Sissy because she USED to be a weenie, now she's the BOSS.(Will be 6 years old in May)
Next is Peaches, aka, Sissy's rival in the morning. Peaches also came from a irresponsible former owner. She got Peaches because of her coloring.(Will be 4 years old in May)
Patches came from the middle of the road by a police officer (My mom is a 9-1-1 dispatcher and he knew I could take care of her) so guess who got the spotted curl tail!? MEEE!
Yaaay! She has 6 tails!! Deformity at birth I am guessing, it sets her apart from the pack! She will be a year old in May!
Lil'Cat, the cat who has the name that doesn't match her. She is 23 pounds skinny and is my loaf of bread. She sits with me while I study or record my music. She was my first "Baby" so to speak, I missed school the day she had to be spayed, LOL! She will be 11 years old this July!(black and white)
Joey is my "white home boy" He has one blue blue eye and one green/yellow eye and YES he can see out of both and he is NOT deaf, he can hear me breathe different when I wake up in the morning to trample me! He came from the beach, and he was the only kitten out of the litter who could see/hear. He will be 2 on St. Patricks Day.
Josh is a "Pound kitty" he was 3 days old in the pound, with no mother! (I help adopt animals out of the pound) and WELL he had a brother, my cousin rushed over to get him and we went home and I taught her how to bottle feed and make them go potty. He will be 2 years old in July he is black and white =)
THEN there is SAM & MUP MUP! They are also pound cats! But we refer to them as the junkyard cats because they were SO wild when I got them. I was here that day with my boyfriend picking HIM out a cat when the lady that works there come running out of the back with tears streaming down her face screaming "PLEASE TAKE THEM HOME, I CAN'T DO THIS TO THEM" So welll, I reached into that trap and grabbed this kitten that was ATTACHED with all four feet to the metal wires and I put him in my shirt and said let's go home. For the first month I limited them to my bedroom for play. Then I let them out into the rest of the house and they are now the lovingESSS cats I have really. They are so spoiled, but I guess more than likely, thankful! They will be 1 in July.
SCOOTER is my sickling. His story is posted somewhere else as well. He came from an OVERPOPULATED cat factory as I call it. My boyfriends sister got him and his 2 sisters from the situation. My boyfriend insisted I come over and help the little guy so after 2 hours of crying and juting him along, he came around and I was the FIRST person he saw with his little bad eye!! He was originially blind in one eye but with eyedrops and ointments he has his FULL vision in both eyes (they just run with boogies sometimes) He has an upper respiritory disturbance as my mom says. He is the sweetest most talkative kitty I have. I wouldn't trade him for the world =)
That pretty much wraps up my cats.
If you would like to know more about ME possibly just shoot a message or post on here, I am not shy, nor rude =)
Have a wonderful day all!
