Morning ya'll,
I went through the messages and did not see this one (could be an old one)
I have 5 cats now, up until 2 weeks ago had only 4, with the ranks being very well balance, who was on top and down to the bottom. My stepdaughter and I had another cat climb in her lap at a park we were eating at. Beautiful little gray about 1 old, look in good condition. After asking around the hot dog stand no one claims to know who it is. Two of the regulars said she just showed up one day. I put a message on the board at the park with a pic of her and we brought her home... now the fun begins.
She seems to have been an indoor cat only, mine all have doors for outside during the daytime, at night everyone is indoors. All but my youngest female seem to have gotten use to her, but the my Daisy (the youngest female) seems to want to "spray" around the house now
. She has NEVER done this before. My husband thought maybe a problem, but after being at the vet's yesterday, found nothing wrong. I have always thought this was a behavior problem as my stepdaugher's bedroom was Daisy's "place". Now the new cat stays in there and they do not get along very well.
Has anyone had this problem before and it is a "ranking" problem between the cats and will they ever work this out.
I also had the new cat checked for a micochip incase she was someone's cat they had chipped.
Thanks for any help.
