I am currently living with my grandparents. They have many cats, plus three of my own. I adopted mine from a local shelter, most of theirs were rescued. We recently brought one in, a medium non-spayed female. Its getting along all right with people. However, I have to keep her separated from the others because she growls and hisses until it becomes a fight. Should I just give it more time, or is there anyway to help her adjust? Please help me!

I agree. Begin with this, esp as you shall spay her anyway.

Had you done some introduction programme?  If not, do it AFTER the spaying. Wait also a couple three of weeks till the hormonal niveus are down.

You can also try with Feliway.

Good luck!

Lots of major changes for your cats especially if you just moved. This new cat from a shelter?? Because then they should pay for the spay. My only advice is to get her spayed right away and let her have room of her own (with your other two) i.e., your bedroom, away from the other cats. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
