Good morning everyone! Forgive me if this is difficult to read. I can't really tell what Georgia Font looks like
I suspect it would be good if I introduced myself before posting too often and having people wonder where I came from.
My husband, Jerry, and I have been breeding and showing Siamese and Oriental Shorthairs since 1989. We haven't been as active in showing during the past three years because of my health, but plan to get back into it now on a fairly regular basis. I, myself, am pleased that my husband is willing to take me during the Summer, because he crews on a Sportsman class car at one of the local Nascar tracks during the Summer. However, we will be showing in Massachusetts next weekend at a TICA show and are looking forward to going with two of our kittens.
As I sit here typing, several "dorks", as I frequently refer to my cats, are "helping" me by sitting behind me, at my right elbow, at my left elbow and generally charging through the house getting into trouble. Our 17-year old domestic spay is keeping everyone in line
My very good friend, Gaye Flagg, has been encouraging me to come here for about the past year, and now that I have a functional computer, I will try to get on on a regular basis. Unfortunately, I can't sit and type for a very long time because I have been dealing with major chronic pain for about the past five years, and sitting, standing and walking are all very painful - even though I am on prescribed narcotics from the Pain Care center in my area. Oh well, that's just life.
I'm not much one for posting personal information about myself or the cats because I tend to forget that "normal" people (by that, I mean those who are not insane enough to run a registered breeding program
I should warn everyone right now that I have rather strong opinions - especially about bybs and sheer ignorance, and I have a tendency to get quite sarcastic when dealing with those situations. I will make every attempt to tone it down.
Well, thanks for listening to my ramblings. When I figure out how to load up software on this computer so that I may download pictures from my camera, I hope to post some pictures of the "kids".
