All those things are actually very common (unfortunately) with rescue kitties. If the diarrhea doesn't clear up, you might want to have his poop tested for tritrichomonas foetus, which has to be detected by a special test. It doesn't show up in the normal fecal float at the vet. Glad you got him checked out and that he's on some meds to help him. Feel free to keep me posted via private message if you'd like.
