Yep, she's cute but fought like crazy this morning, really didn't want her antibiotics
Seems to want to eat ALL the time when she's not sleeping, playing, bugging Kat-Kat (or me, woke me up sitting on my chest licking my chin
)
She's growing quick now she's being fed, after chasing Kat-Kat for an hour or so this morning she decided I needed some attention then finally settled down.
Not sure if she likes camera or not but she does pose, even while looking indifferent
Sounds like a typical Siamese kitten :lol3: Life is one big party and they are always willing participants . She really is beautiful  Very special feet and toes too You are lucky and so is she, that you found each other :heart3:
She can jump up step into kitchen instead of climbing up, and, she can jump onto patio chairs
Kat-Kat is playing rougher with her now.
He's not hurting her as far as I can tell but she yelps and he lets her go, then, she launches at him, grabs him around the neck or wherever she lands.
He's getting a bit paranoid, waiting for next attack (bit like Peter Sellers 'Clouseau' in Pink Panther with Cato hiding to attack )
Really funny earlier, he SAT on her to hold her down
Glad to know you can't over feed kittens, she has slowed down a lot compared to first 10 days
I hope she grows out of suckling sooner rather than later, I think your right she was 'removed' from mother too early, maybe it's why she was so tiny when she turned up?
I don't mind kneading' and playing with my feet through covers but neck was stinging real bad Monday morning, she could have been 'cleaning' me?
She licks my chin just about every morning and seems like she wants me to clean her (moves up in front of my mouth?)
I have two cats - littermates - ~1.5 yrs. Cagney used to suckle Lacy. I guess Lacey put the kibosh on that. Now Cagney suckles herself, but not as much as she used to and not with the same veracity.
Love the picture updates of Kat Kat and Kit Kit. Best friends for sure I have to laugh at the suckling issue :lol3: My Presley did that as a baby kitten! Constantly wanted to nurse on my neck The more I pushed him away, the worse it became and upset him. So I would let him for a little and then distract him, or try anyway. He finally gave it all up by about nine months of age. He is my biggest cuddle bug and so loving. I think Kit Kit will be a VERY loving cat too.
sneaked out this afternoon to 'survey her domain' , she thinks she's a squirrel
I've never seen a cat climb the way she does, but stranger, she turned round and came down tree head first
Then she was running around, climbing up and down tree's until exhausted (and overheated) still wanted to play though?
I eventually caught her and brought her in, she just lay panting for about 10 mins. I dabbed her with some cool water on head and paws/pads.Eventually she cooled down enough to drink some water then fell asleep.(it was around 94+ this afternoon)
Kat-Kat is far more sensible, sleeps inside in the AC unti around 5~6 pm, goes out for a few hours then comes back in when he gets too hot (around 10pm tonight)
He'll go back out for the night later to harass the possums, raccoon's and whatever then turn up around 7~8am to eat and sleep
Kat and Kit are playing at present, she seems fine (she's still 'ambushing' him)
I guess he's had enough, claws at chair, (does it deliberately to get my attention) meow's quietly, I know he want's out
It's the only thing he claws, (couldn't do it to the cheap chairs, has to be the most expensive one)
He does sometimes claw front door post when he's 'telling' me to hurry up and let him out
:lol3: I remember when Pipsqueak - my siamese apple head , was a kitten. OMG he would play and play and play and play to the point of panting and exhaustion and still wanted more. Just NUTS!!! Siamese are funny little characters and I think you are in for many more joyful experiences with Kit Kit. They are very comical little creatures. So glad that things are going so well and you are enjoying watching the two of them interact.
Likes to play with bath tissue, found she can unroll a brand new roll and make a huge pile to play in
I though squashing roll would make it too difficult to turn, but, no, pretty much perfect claw /paw 'print' every 4~5th sheet, she probably worked quite hard to have fun
Wife and I had a look at some at Pets R Us but didn't like the prices ($150.00 + for the one wife liked)
Got a 4 ft long 12" dia heavy duty cardboard tube from Home Depot for $11.00 (used for concrete footings)
We already have several 8x10ft carpets that grand daughter spilt things on when she was younger, going to try pressure washing and see how it comes out, I can always cut around worst parts if needed
Had some plywood and bought some cedar for uprights/scratching posts (it isn't poisonous to cats? Anyone know?)
