Unfortunately once they start spraying, neutering MAY NOT stop the spraying. It often does but there is no guarantee. The very best thing is get them neutered when they are young, before they ever start to spray.Originally Posted by Catessa

Most adult males don't spray after being neutered but it could be a few months before everything is out of their system. Its still a 50/50 chance on them spraying.
