Forgive the newb-ness of this question, but how long does it usually take a newly neutered male to stop being so dominant/aggressive towards a kitten? We got Moe fixed last week and since I've never dealt with this type of situation, I was wondering what you all had been through in regards to time frames. I know not to expect an overnight miracle. Just curious!

It really depends on WHY he's being "dominant/aggressive" :dk:. Sometimes cats don't like other cats. Same as with humans (you don't like everyone you meet!), and that has nothing to do with hormones. But if it is hormonal, you'll usually see an improvement within a month or so, although it can take 2-3 months for all the hormones to leave his system.

Thanks for the information! Moe grooms the kitten, so I'm guessing he likes the little guy. I just hope it is hormonal and we'll keep an eye on them constantly.

Thanks!!!
