Okay, no more happy pills for Merlin. He was high as a kite most of the night. I didn't get a lot of sleep because he kept running across the bed and jumping on me. The other kitties left and found someplace else to sleep. He finally wound down just before my alarm went off this morning.

He's back to eating everything in sight: wet food, dry food, people food (if he can get it before I hide it). His gums are looking really good, too, so hopefully this has taken care of the problem for the foreseeable future.

So happy everything went well for Merlin! I remember when Rocky had three extractions from resorptive lesions, I expected he would want to come home and relax. He played all night long because he felt so much better! Sounds like Merlin did the same.

Who said anything about "nice"? He's back to his usual mischievous self.
