I have two cats, three boxes. They really seem to like using the pretty litter (it’s been a few months) but I need to change for the following reasons:
1. IT TRACKS EVERYWHERE. Mats, putting it in a tub, whatever I do...crystals everywhere. Crystals in my bed!!!! Yikes.
2. It’s really expensive for me
3. It will turn blue for reasons that aren’t medical issues and I freak out then have an expensive and unneeded vet visit.
Things I like about it
- it’s lighter (though the tracking is so bad—so if I need heavy litter to prevent that so be it)
- it’s easy to scoop! I actually don’t mind not having pee clumps and just replacing the whole box when it gets too peed in.
Please give me suggestions! When changing litter, I’ll start by changing one of the boxes and see what happens first. Then two of their boxes will be the new litter, then three. I usually don’t need to mix them.
