Need recipe for cat chews

Looking for recipe for chewy treats for cats. Prefer large enough and hard enough to gnaw on, not just eat. But not hard enough to break teeth or cause choking. A good texture might be the chewiness of a lamp cord.

I've searched the web for some time, will appreciate any ideas.
