I ended up going to ER on the advice of the 24 hour phone nurse. I'm going to try to call the TNR group and sound calm. I just can't leave water or food near my condo anymore. I'm scared to death and my family frankly is worried about my little granddaughter. I am thinking I will put water out up on the hill behind the condo near the area where I think she is. When we came back from the ER she was laying there by the water dish (my husband had come back and taken the food away--she had eaten most of it). I was scared TO DEATH walking from the car to my door knowing she was there. And it's the water bowl that she's lying near. I feel for her, and I'm really sad about the whole thing. But at this point my fear is stronger thang my compassion. And, trust me, that's pretty darned strong. I called animal control before I left for the hospital, but hopefully the TNR group will come through for me.
