I posted on here a few weeks ago, about the little feral that we trapped and brought indoors. Well six weeks on, and he is still hiding in one of his little houses, and will only come out to eat and toilet, when I have left the room. He has a room all to himself with beds and toys (not that he plays of course), and I work quietly in the room with him for a few hours every day and I read to him every evening, but there seems to be no progress. I understand that I just have to be patient, but I am really worried about his mental state, with no interaction and just boredom for six weeks. Does anyone have any advice, or tricks to help him feel more comfortable or to get some kind of interaction? We have built him a ledge at the window so he can sit and look out of, but is this enough?
