Need help in North Carolina

I would like to ask the mods to please leave this thread in the Lounge so more people can see it, considering the urgency of my situation.

I have been trying many different ways to find a new owner for my cat, but with no luck. I live in Charlotte, NC and if anyone knows somebody in the area who is willing to become an owner of my outdoor cat, I would greatly appreciate it. I am leaving for the military at the end of the month so the situation is quite urgent.

I'm in Charlotte, but I can't afford to care for another cat at the moment... I'll ask around and see if I can help you find a home for it!

I wonder if there are any specific groups that help those going into the military rehome their pets?
