Thanks, Heather adopted mommy of LuckyGirl
PS...how does everyone get the pics of their kitty's below their profile name??
That is such a great idea, Tricia! I read LuckyGirl's post and didn't have any advice. I'm so glad you did!!!Originally Posted by jcat
Did your vet mention that you can use nail caps called "Soft Paws"? http://www.softpaws.com/ Many members here use them with no trouble whatsoever.
Fortunately she's not much of a scratcher. I sit for my nephew usually twice a week, Sat for most of the day, and usually 1 evening a week (his mom's going to school for nursing!). And the babies pretty good, he won't really try to go near her, he just looks at her and smiles. But you never know with kids, one day he might decide to tug on her or something and I might not be able to catch it in time. And the babies had every virus known to man...he even had to have his adnoids taken out. Lucky's on anti-biotics right now... and has a few more weeks of it to go. At first I had to wrap her in a towel and she cursed me out in kitty cat the whole time...but now she's kinda like "ok, get it over with" and takes her meds like a good girl. I just worry about her so much...she has already been through so much for an 8mos old kitten...she was starving when we found her and she's still under weight...although probably not for long with the way she eats!!!Originally Posted by PurrPaws
How long is your nephew at your house? If he's only there for a few hours, you could put Lucky in her own room with some food, toys and litterbox. I'm sure she'd be ok; she'd get used to this.
