Has anyone tried this ?
Thanks
Thanks
yes, definately that brand, i saw another corncob brand and will definately never try it after my experience with natures miracle. the original smell of the litter was pleasant and reminded me of pine. but after it mixes with urine/poop, it reacts in such a way that makes the smell unbearable to me.Originally Posted by gizmocat
It certainly doesn't make my apartment smell, and are you sure that you got this particular brand?
There are two other corncob brands out there.
anyway, the only negative I can say is that one of the three upstairs cats hated it, though the other two and the owners liked it. But your mileage may differ.
The only cat litter I could not stand the smell of was the Arm and Hammer which had a sickly perfume smell. But Nature's Miracle has very little odor, and what there is, is pleasant. At least to me and Gizmo.
yeah, i didnt like the feline pine either. the reason for trying natures miracle is that its flushable, but i did see a flushable clumping clay litter at petco so maybe ill try that one? flushable and clay doesnt make sense tho?Originally Posted by gizmocat
Well, the cat's diet may also affect the way the litter reacts. Gizmo smelled a lot more before she was put on an allergy diet (she had gas from the chicken diet and the bathroom used to be a bit much after she'd used it) but now, there's hardly any odor at all.
I do not recommend the other corncob based brand---it is a blue bag with a white cat on it--this stuff was horrendous. I lost it when poor Gizmo tracked bright yellow footprints all over my pillow since she could not get this stuff off her paws.
I hope you can find another organic litter to use. Many people and cats like Feline Pine, which Gizmo and I did not--but as we can see, different situations can lead to different reactions.
