You really need to post some pictures, Lauren! I'd love to see your house and your yard.
I took a bunch of yard picture yesterday. Everything is not in full bloom yet but I thought I will post them anyway and can post later when things are full. I am getting there, Pam!!! :pix: I will take the pictures of the inside of the house after the hardwood gets put in so you can see that too.

1. Dentist appt. today for Larry and myself.
2. Stop at flooring store and go ahead with ordering the hardwood we picked out.
3. Social Security office to update our cards.

I can't wait to see your pictures!

Well, we didn't make it anywhere last night. Got home, made dinner, and worked around the house. Neither one of us really felt like going back out once we were home. So that means:

Run the errands today that we didn't do last night (bank, butcher shop, Target, Lowes, etc.)

Make garlic parmesan rolls to throw into the fridge and the marinade for the flank steak

Clean the house a little bit (vacuum, dust, scoop, all that good stuff)

We got up this morning at 4:30 as Rick had to be to work early. While he was getting ready for work, I hit the treadmill. And did a load of laundry while I was in the basement. And removed the tarps from the strawberry plants. So let's see......

Vacuum and spot-dust

Scoop

Fringe (still working on season 2)

Garbage decided to come hours earlier then normal so I had a more relaxed litter box cleaning day.

Litter boxes that never end

Nice hot bath(normally a shower person but feel bronchitis coming on so soak sounds nice)

Enjoy Kitchen Nightmares on Youtube. Only got to see bits of the latest Amy's Bakery Company and it was insane!

Hit the treadmill this morning and will walk over lunch (weather permitting)

Trash night, so clean out the litter boxes

Mow the yard (if the weather holds out)

Our weatherweenies are calling for showers this morning, followed by t-storms this afternoon into this evening. I guess we'll find out. I can't complain as we need the rain.

Our power is out but have no fear :lol3:, this house came with a whole house generator!! The reason for the power outage is for the tree trimming.....

1. ON the lookout for the tree trimmers coming through our yard. :soldier: :nono: Will not allow them to chop away too much of the hemlocks!!!
2. Bike ride
3. Finish cleaning windows. argh....

We got our riding mower back!!!

I was all prepared to push-mow last night, but I didn't have to!

The guy brought it back last night. I was so happy, I gave the guy a hug! (And two applesauce brownies)

So I spent last night mowing the yard while Rick cleaned out the litter boxes (I got the best part of that deal). Got the whole yard done, too, except for trimming around the trees and such. It's so nice to be able to mow the whole yard in 3 hours instead of two nights. It was getting pretty dark by the time I was finished, but I wasn't stopping until I was done.

So for today:

1. I hit the treadmill for 3 miles this morning and will walk over lunch

2. Trim around the trees in the yard and mow the bank (no way will I do the bank on the riding mower)

3. Work on laundry
