i understand why it took 6 months before the names stuck, picking names is so hard

think i'll take your advice and wait until he's a bit older before i pick a name

thats who Maverick's named after, tom cruises charachter in that film.

My boyfriend (well ex-boyfriend as of one week, still dont know what to call him

) named her and is also campaigning to call the new kitten Goose.

I prefer Cougar myself but didnt he quit in the 1st 10mins or something? i dunno, i hate the film! I also hate the name Maverick too (for my cat anyway), it just really doesnt suit such a prissy feminine kitty

she needs a far prettier name. well at least i get to name this little one!

Yeah, he did quit early in the film. I love that movie. It's in my 10 all time favorites. You could also name him Merlin after Tim Robbins character. He flew with Cougar in the beginning of the movie and with Maverick at the end of the movie. Merlin would be cute too.

I LOVE the name Eight Ball, but I think that would have to be for a black kitty w/a white spot on his noggin!!!
