I do not have any single favorites of anything except for books, so I am going to go with three that are in my top ten.

"Shake It Out" by Florence + the Machine

"And, I am done with my graceless heart, so tonight I'm going to cut it out and then restart."

Emilie Autumn, "Fight Like a Girl"

"My heart is a weapon of war. My voice is my weapon of choice."

David Guetta featuring Sia, "Titanium"

"You shoot me down, but I won't fall. I am titanium."

Ordinary World

What is happening to me?

Crazy some're saying

Where is my friend

When I need you most?

Gone away....

But I won't cry for yesterday

There's any ordinary world

Somehow I have to find....

This song came out in the winter of '93 a little over a year after my daddy died. It helped me feel less alone in my grief both then and now since mom has died as well.

Omg, I'm so touched by your song choice and just had to tell you. My beloved cat was lost for 32 days, just got her back home 4 days ago. The entire time, a very gut wrenching and difficult time, I would sing this song over and over again. Truly a great song!!

Imagine - John Lennon

"You may say I'm a dreamer...but I'm not the only one".

So sorry about your parents. I am happy to hear your cat came home. It must've been a tough time. Music helps us deal with stuff. And Welcome!!

The Beatles' "When I'm Sixty-four."

"Will you still love me, will you still need me, when I'm sixty-four?"

There are many other favorites, but this one spoke to me. He didn't love me when I was sixty-four.
