Our beautiful Nacho is at 64 days today and I am so nervous for her! She has been very tired this week, just moving from sleeping spot to sleeping spot. I have all the stuff ready for kittens when born and nests made around the house just awaiting the arrival now 😊

Be sure she gets calcium rich food now, , and food of kitten-type... Goats milk is almost always useful as supplement or even as emergency kmr.

Yes I have the kitten one all ready with tiny bottles for feeding although she is full of milk and been leaking for a few days.

Good.
I was also thinking on her; so you are sure she has calcium enough.

Lack of calcium may cause weak labor.

Yes I’ve been feeding her lots of kitten food already for weeks also extra treats with her food. She’s been eating 4 - 6 times a day.

Nacho is now 67 days, her mucus plug came out this morning. She has been having ripples and contractions throughout the day with back legs kicking out. She still eating but not able to rest for long seems very uncomfortable. Should I stay up with her through the night or is it likely she won’t deliver this soon? It’s now 11pm here I’m unsure what to do?

Stay up if you feel she needs you. She will likely deliver during the night or early morning. It certainly can’t hurt to be available if she needs help with a cord or kitten.

At what point should we visit the vets? I’m thinking of going tomorrow am ? Or am I over reacting?

See the vet since tomorrow is Friday, but I think you may end up waiting it out unless she is in distress.

Been to the vets today and they did a scan. Mummy and babies are all doing great with strong heart beats. Told to wait and see if anything happens over the weekend and if not bk Monday 😊

Scan was good on Friday - remember that. I’m thinking it’s not quite time yet, but vet may decide to start labor with oxytocin tomorrow. Every cat is different, so yours may just need a few extra days - or not. If the kittens get too big they may be difficult to deliver. Did vet say how many kittens there are?
