Mysterious dried patches on the ground

These appeared in my room while I was sleeping.. I'm not sure if they're hairballs or dried bile... or maybe cat pee? I'm not sure what dried cat vomit looks like, but i really hope it's not that..

Hi. It almost looks like granules of some sort. Litter from your cat's feet? There is a staining of sorts on the floor around that mystery white stuff, so it could be pee that your cat tracked litter through while it was still wet. Or your cat ate something they shouldn't have and threw it up? Maybe it isn't even from your cat at all?

At this point, if you can find no other likely answers, then just keep an eye on your cat to see if it happens again.
