Let me start by saying that had I not found TCS, I would have never gotten a proper diagnosis for Rufus Riley. The vet called it an 'interesting profile' on the message left on my answering machine today. Rufus is active for Mycoplasma, Bordatella, and Calici.
Thankfully, he is negative for Herpes Virus, Chlamydia, and Influenza Virus.
After almost 3 months of not being able to figure out why he was constantly sneezing and having other respiratory problems (and having no experience with 'kitty colds' myself) I found this site.
The vet was almost certain this was a Herpes Virus and wanted to put poor Rufus on Famciclovir. I decided to do more research and found TCS. Within slightly over a week, I had an appointment for both a real PCR/URD test and a Culture and Sensitivity test. I would not have even known about these tests! StepanieTX, thank you so much for hanging in that thread to help me get this figured out.
Rufus Riley thanks TCS from the bottom of his heart
